As do humans, as do teams – companies need goals. Without a clear, chosen, meaningful goal, there is not movement. There is limited success.
However, the dynamics of goal setting take on a little different form for a company than for a team or an individual. Goals for a company fall out of a carefully crafted strategic plan which, in essence, has a hierarchy of goals.
There is the longer-term “vision” goal. There are over-arching goals that are needed to reach that vision. Then there are smaller strategic goals to achieve each of the over-arching goals. All of which translates to more immediate tasks, or daily goals, to have consistent aligned movement. This tutorial teaches you how to craft this kind of meaningful, goal driven, strategic plan.
