At a company level, agreements can enhance bonding, but also increase performance and the quality of outcomes. Take the simple illustrations of the agreements necessary to be a part of a sports team: must wear the uniform, attend practices, maintain certain levels of health and fitness…etc. When everyone follows those agreements, the team is better. Other team dynamics are enhanced, too. A sense of belonging, the importance of follow through, because the team depends on you, etc.
