Truby Achievements, Inc. is the culmination of Bill Truby’s life work: over 40 years refining a commonsense, results-focused way to run a business. Those lessons became the Truby Management System (TMS) and our Profit-Driven Leadership Training—practical tools that align people and process so profit becomes predictable. Field-tested with 19,500+ leaders across 55+ industries, our approach focuses on the how of the business, not just the what, and delivers measurable, real-world results.
Over 25 years ago, Joann Truby joined the mission, bringing deep expertise in performance and operations from elite athletics and leadership in the fitness industry. Together, our co-founders lead a team that loves helping owners and managers build high-performing teams, smooth operations, and healthy, sustainable businesses—in plain English, with immediate application.

Bill Truby
President & CEO
Bill Truby, M.A., MFT, is a psychology and business-trained consultant, speaker, author and educator whose focus is on improving the quality of human fulfillment and performance in organizations. His clients include architectural, engineering and related design profession firms; manufacturing companies, dental and medical offices, hospitals, wineries, insurance companies, schools, churches, health clubs; and various product, service, and sales organizations.
Bill’s work includes consulting for goal setting, team building, strategic planning, management transition; and training in leadership, communications, sales, delegation, motivation, and other organizational skills. He has developed the Truby Management System that eliminates people problems, builds high-performing, accountable teams, creates confident, successful leaders/managers, AND builds a better business, including the increase of productivity and profitability.
Truby has been a popular speaker and workshop leader for the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Professional Services Management Association, the American Society of Association Executives, the Society of Architectural Administrators, California Association of Hospital Admission Managers, and the American Institute of Architects.
He has worked extensively throughout the United States as well as Australia, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Bill has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and has been teaching personal, interpersonal and organizational success strategies for the past 40 years.

Joann Truby
Vice President
Joann Truby is an experienced consultant, speaker, author, trainer, facilitator, and leadership coach whose focus is on helping individuals and organizations achieve success and fulfillment. She has worked with a wide range of clients including architectural and engineering firms, manufacturing companies, medical and dental offices, hospitals, wineries, insurance companies, schools, churches, and health clubs. Her energetic speaking and training style not only provides practical, usable tools but also motivates people to take meaningful action.
Her background and training allow her to address issues such as wellness, stress management, and time management, while also providing expertise in leadership, communication, conflict management, and teamwork. She has facilitated goal-setting processes, strategic retreats, and leadership development workshops for leaders, teams, and organizations seeking to improve performance and morale.
Joann’s intuitive and experiential approach has made her a sought-after trainer and coach. She is particularly skilled at guiding groups through difficult challenges, breaking through impasses, and fostering stronger collaboration. As a leadership coach, she has worked with executives, managers, and individuals at all levels, helping them develop confidence, balance, and personal growth while achieving professional success.
Her diverse life experience has shaped her ability to connect deeply with people and provide creative, insightful guidance. Those who work with Joann often remark on her genuine spirit, her energy, and her capacity to inspire confidence.

Tanya Quinn
COO
Tanya Quinn is an extremely talented and extensively experienced executive professional with years of service in corporate leadership. A leader of teams, the engine behind the success of multi-faceted programs and strategies, and a devoted wife and mother, Tanya is a “gift” to Truby Achievements, Inc. She single-handedly developed the entire operational infrastructure for the company.
In addition to her work with Truby Achievements, Tanya is also the founder of Small Actions Greater Good, a movement created to inspire and support small business owners in embracing and sharing effective social responsibility. Through this work, she helps entrepreneurs connect doing good with building stronger, more resilient businesses.
But the best part about Tanya is this: in her natural state, she embodies, practices, and demonstrates every teaching and skill Truby Achievements teaches to the world. She veritably oozes the leadership and management principles from every pore of her being. She talks it. She lives it. She teaches it.
She is a treasure who, Bill says, “Works harder than any hired hand I ever saw on my family’s hard-working cattle ranch. She’s the best ‘side-kick’ any ‘outfit’ would ever want.”
Tanya is originally from Ohio and currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and daughter.
